Fidelity® Names Vadim Zlotnikov to Lead $440 Billion Global Asset Allocation Division


BOSTON — Fidelity Investments®, one of the largest and most diversified global asset management firms with more than $2.4 trillion in managed assets,1 today announced the appointment of Vadim Zlotnikov as Head of its Global Asset Allocation (GAA) division.

Zlotnikov joins Fidelity from AllianceBernstein, where he was serving as chief market strategist, co-head of Multi-Asset Solutions and chief investment officer for Systematic and Index Strategies. In his new role, Zlotnikov will report directly to Charlie Morrison, president, Asset Management.

GAA is one of the main investment groups at Fidelity, alongside Equity and Fixed Income. This multi-asset class division is well known for its target-date suite of Freedom Funds, which it has managed since 1996, and Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM) target-date strategies, both of which seek high total return until a target retirement date, at which point the strategies strive for high current income and capital appreciation. GAA also provides a wide range of asset-allocation mutual funds and institutional strategies that help investors meet different objectives within their investment portfolios, including target risk and income/real return. GAA managed approximately $440 billion in assets of December 31, 2017.
